Onville Upton's 1862 letter to his sister, Mary, describing regimental dress parade routines, improvements to the St. Francis Barracks, and night patrols along St. Augustine's western picket line. Further detail is on a hunting party's success finding cattle outside of town. In addition, Upton makes note of a Union raid on a Confederate lumber mill and the burning of St. Marys, Georgia.
